The WHA is incorporated as a nonprofit organization to promote the safety and well being of the residents and to maintain and improve property values. The association owns and maintains the recreational facilities and common grounds. The Homeowners Association is the definition of fiscal responsibility, with a balanced annual budget and a strong capital reserve in invested funds.

The association membership consists of the 380 homeowners in the community. The WHA is managed by a nine member board of directors. Board members are elected by the membership for a three year term.

The Board of Directors manage the following committees: landscape & maintenance, security, clubhouse rentals, swimming pool, social activities, architectural review, monthly newsletter and covenant compliance.
